Middle School matters—and so does how your child spends their summer.

At Camp of Champions, we love Middle School students and are passionate about helping them grow in their faith now while developing leadership skills they’ll carry into school, sports, church, and life beyond camp.

The Activity Assistant (AA) Program is a meaningful, fun, and faith-filled way for Middle Schoolers to spend the summer.

This isn’t just something to do—it’s a place where your child is known, encouraged, and challenged to grow.

As an AA, your student will experience:

• 🌱 Guided leadership and discipleship alongside caring, trained summer staff

• 🎯 Hands-on responsibility and skill-building through helping lead games and activities

• 🚐 Special trips and exclusive outings that celebrate growth, effort, and community

The Activity Assistant Program is designed to help Middle School students take meaningful steps toward independence, leadership, and faith—all while having an absolute blast and making lifelong summer memories.

*The Activity Assistant Program Requires a minimum of 4 weeks of Attendance

Notes about the program

1. The Activity Assistant Program is available for the entire duration of the Camp of Champions USA summer camp program.

2. The Activity Assistant program is a stepping stone between Camper registration (for children entering 1st-6th grades in Fall 2026) and our paid summer staff members (who must have completed their freshman year of high school to apply). For that reason, Activity Assistants are registered for the program by their parent/guardian and there is a weekly fee for participation in the program. Registration opens January 26th through the same registration process for camp.

3. Registration for the Activity Assistant program has 3 parts:

   1. Must have previously attended COCUSA, and register online through the camp registration process.

   2. Written application and personal references submitted by the student, and

   3. A review of the application and references by the Camp of Champions USA staff prior to acceptance into the Activity Assistant program.

4. The Activity Assistant Program introduces middle school students to leadership and discipleship skills that prepare them for their first job and meet the requirements to join the Camp of Champions USA summer staff team if they choose. As such, we hold all participants in the Activity Assistant program to a high standard of character, work ethic, and behavior. Repeated instances of violating Camp of Champions USA rules and policies may result in dismissal from the program.
